A free online map viewer for Europe that puts national mapping agencies’ own maps and aerial photography side by side in one viewer, together with Esri imagery and topographic basemaps.
Country layers: the Netherlands (PDOK topographic map, aerial imagery and infrared aerial photography), Switzerland (Swisstopo Pixelkarte and aerial imagery), Austria (Basemap.at map and aerial imagery), Spain (IGN base map), France (IGN plan, orthophoto, contour lines, hillshade, mountain slopes, coastal charts and infrared aerial photography), Norway (Kartverket topographic map), Germany (TopPlusOpen and Basemap.de), Luxembourg (topographic map and aerial imagery) and Czechia (ČÚZK orthophoto). Europe-wide layers include EMODnet vessel traffic density and the Meteosat natural colour satellite view. Live camera layers show current traffic in London (Transport for London) and road weather in Finland (Fintraffic) and Norway (Statens vegvesen), and a live layer shows the buses, trams, trains and ferries of Norway (Entur). Live public transport layers also cover the Helsinki region (HSL) and the Netherlands (OVapi). A live road traffic layer shows how fast traffic is moving in Finland (Fintraffic), the Netherlands (NDW) and Norway (Statens vegvesen).
Use the search box to find a place, measure distances and areas, draw lines, polygons and buffers, click the map to query the layers that support it, convert coordinates between decimal degrees, degrees-minutes-seconds and UTM, and load your own KML or KMZ files.
